20 million euros to unlock secrets of cell division and test ‘liquid crystal’ hypothesis

The CRG’s Vivek Malhotra and Thomas Surrey are part of two international consortia that will receive 20 million euros to pursue two radical ideas in cell biology. They have been awarded one ERC Synergy Grant each, funding designed to tackle some of the world’s most formidable research problems.
